Ms. Tracey Taylor

Originally born in Buffalo, NY, my family moved to Nevada when I was very young. Raised mostly in Nevada and Monterey Bay area, I moved back here when I was 19, and have lived here ever since. I attended WNCC for MANY years, finally earning an Associate's Degree in 1996 in Juvenile Justice. I transferred to UNR, where I 'sampled' many programs before finally deciding on Education. I received my Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education in 2003, and began teaching at St. Teresa in 2004.

Now that I don't have to worry about writing 12 page lesson plans, or studying for final exams, I can actually buy into the theory that educators have a life-long love of learning, and frequently do take advantage of after school and weekend workshops to keep abreast of new programs and pedagogy.
