blessed me with a successful career in the United States Air Force. God
blessed me with a loving family and good health. God blessed me with a
desire to teach and share what I know. God blessed me with a son whose
love knows no ends. God blessed me with the opportunity to join the
loving, caring, faith-based staff of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic School!
God blessed all of us at St. Teresa of Avila with your most precious of
gifts - your children and the opportunity you have given us to make a
profound difference in their lives. I'm sure I join my fellow teachers
when I say I will do my best to ensure your children receive the best
Catholic education possible. A little now about my background. I earned
a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from the University
of Nevada, Reno and have been issued a license to teach kindergarten
through eighth grade by the Nevada Department of Education. I was born in Yerington, Nevada. After moving to Carson City I spent
eleven-and-a-half years in Carson City schools. Following graduation from
Carson City High School I reported for active duty in the United States
Air Force, spending the next 21 years with much of it overseas. I have
been retired for ten years, during which time I completed my degree and
became a father...truly, I am blessed! I have spent a number of years as a
substitute teacher as well as spending one year teaching 8th grade math
and one year teaching 8th grade science. I look forward to sharing what God has shared with me in the coming
year and helping your children reach their fullest potential.
