I am a native of Carson City,
and a 5th generation Nevadan. I graduated from Carson High and from the
University of Nevada with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in
History. I taught grades 3, 4, and 5 in public schools and retired with
34 years of teaching. I worked with many different ability levels but
most of my time was spent helping special education children. I was a
math trainer at Corbett and Mark Twain Elementary School. I have been married for 40 years this June and have raised two boys. I am an active Catholic and have always had a deep belief in God. My husband and I have always been actively involved in St. Teresa of Avila church. I have enjoyed working with the middle school children this year and teaching them about American History and Ancient History. |
