What's Happening at our School We are proud to have been awarded the Best of Carson City 2008 Private & Parochial School by the U.S. Local Business Association! We are pleased to announce the fall 2009-2010 opening of the new St. Teresa of Avila Child Development Center with Jan Sullivan as Director! Children must be 3 or 4 years of age by September 30, 2009 to enroll for the preschool or pre-K programs. Please visit our Preschool page for more information. |

St. Teresa of Avila Summer Reading ProgramEncourage your children to read over the summer. Summer reading helps encourages students to love and enjoy books while increasing reading fluency and vocabulary knowledge and exposing them to a wide variety of genres. Visit our Library page for the summer reading lists for each grade. The library will be open Tuesday, August 18th, and Thursday, August 20th, for students to come in and take Accelerated Reading Tests on books they read over the summer.
